Fall 2026 Move-In Details
A new move-in route began at Lot 8 behind the Nutter Center this year, following recent construction near the Student Union entrance. More than 360 faculty, staff, and student volunteers help students unload belongings and settle in. Wright State supports the transition with Weeks of Welcome, a six-week program building community for new students.

- Check-in location
- Hamilton Hall and Forest Lane residents check in at the Community Center, at the end of Lot 4 under the water tower. Woods, Honors Hall, College Park, University Park, and Village residents check in at The Hub, located at 2000 Zink Road next to the Village apartments.
- Parking
- Follow the new move-in route beginning at Lot 8, behind the Nutter Center - staff and volunteers direct traffic and parking from there to each residence hall.
- What you'll receive
- Your room key at check-in, from the location matching your specific housing assignment - key pick-up times and locations vary, so confirm yours in your housing portal beforehand.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
