Fall 2026 Move-In Details
Arrival times are set through pre-registration, and Residence Life emails the details ahead of move-in day. Unload your belongings on the sidewalk outside your hall, then check in at the residence hall entrance.

Move-in day logistics
- Check-in location
- The entrance of your residence hall, after unloading belongings on the sidewalk outside.
- Parking
- Display the vehicle hang tag from your packet; only one vehicle per student is allowed near the residence halls and vehicles can't be left unattended. Rental trucks like U-Hauls won't fit in the university parking garages.
- What you'll receive
- Your Wildcard, which gives you access to your room.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
