Move-in is staggered by group - Honors students on Wednesday, Aug. 26; first-year students on Thursday, Aug. 27; returning students on Friday, Aug. 28. Watch your UToledo email for instructions on selecting your specific appointment timeslot. Print the combined car note and move-in map ahead of time to place on your dashboard - this helps the move-in team unload your car into bins efficiently.

- Parking
- Follow the directions on your printed move-in map for your assigned campus entry point, drop-off location, and parking area - one person should stay with the vehicle while it's being unloaded to quickly relocate it once unloading is complete.
- What you'll receive
- If you rent or purchase a MicroFridge (a combined microwave, refrigerator, and freezer), it's delivered directly to your room before you arrive, and picked back up after move-out - no heavy lifting required on move-in day.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
