The University of Hawaii Maui College is the University of Hawaii system's public college on Maui, in Kahului. It began in 1931 as the Maui Vocational School and now offers associate degrees and a few bachelor's degrees, including the Maui Culinary Academy. It is a commuter campus with no residence halls: the old dorm buildings near campus were converted to family apartments in 2021, so students rent housing in the community.
