Arrival time required for Aug. 14-15; students moving in Aug. 16-17 do not need to schedule one. Approved groups (Redcoat Band, move-in volunteers) may move in Aug. 13.

- Arrival window
- A scheduled 15-minute window to arrive and begin moving in, chosen in advance through the housing portal for students arriving before the last two move-in days.
- Parking
- Place your unloading-zone parking pass on the dashboard and park in the unloading zone for up to one hour, then move your vehicle to long-term parking.
- What you'll receive
- Your keys and a cart if needed at check-in; your unloading-zone parking pass is delivered in advance of move-in day.
- Vehicle restrictions
- Trailers and other oversized vehicles are discouraged; vehicles that cannot fit in one parking space, with or without a trailer, are not permitted in unloading zones or standard long-term parking lots.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
