An additional 'Week Zero' move-in window (Sept. 21-25) is also available for students who need to arrive later. Students must select a specific move-in date and time slot by September 4 or one will be assigned automatically. A limited number of carts are available for checkout, but students and families are encouraged to bring their own.

What you'll receive
Carts are available for checkout in limited supply, but students and families are strongly encouraged to bring their own moving equipment.

Move-in day tips

  • Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
  • Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
  • Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
  • Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
