The United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland is the federal undergraduate college for future Navy and Marine Corps officers. Incoming midshipmen live in the Bancroft Hall dormitory as part of a brigade organized into companies, begin with a six-week Plebe Summer training program, and dine together in King Hall.

Induction Day is the arrival day for the incoming class, with parent orientation sessions through the morning and the oath ceremony that evening. Families are encouraged to park at the stadium and use the free shuttle.

- Families are encouraged to park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (parking fee) and take the free shuttle to Alumni Hall.
- What you'll receive
- The Naval Academy Business Services Division issues uniforms, textbooks and other gear to the incoming class.
- Vehicle restrictions
- Driving onto the grounds is limited to people with a CAC or DoD credential, and plebes may not operate vehicles except during authorized leave periods.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
