Check-in is alphabetical by last name through the morning. Label all luggage and boxes with your name, building and room number. Approved athletes and international students may arrive earlier by arrangement, and medical records and online training must be complete to get keys.

Move-in day logistics
- Arrival window
- 8:00-10:30am by last name
- Check-in location
- The Student Check-in Station on Columbia, in front of the South Parking Garage.
- Parking
- Enter via Columbia Avenue off First Street, and one driver must stay with the vehicle while it's unloaded. After unloading, park at the Metrolink lot or the TCCS lot.
- What you'll receive
- A color-coded check-in card and your room keys.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
