Navajo Technical University is a tribal university in Crownpoint, on the Navajo Nation, founded in 1979 as the Navajo Skill Center. On-campus housing is efficiency apartments for single students at $1,300 per semester and family housing at $2,500 per semester; residents must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours, and the housing application asks for a Certificate of Indian Blood along with an admission letter and class schedule.
