Hawaii Community College is the University of Hawaii system's public community college on the Island of Hawaii, founded in 1941 as the Hawaii Vocational School, with its main campus in Hilo and a second campus at Palamanui in North Kona. It has no residence halls of its own: its housing page says students apply for housing through the University of Hawaii at Hilo, which shares its dorms with the college.
