Move-In
Fall 2026 Move-In Details
First-year students arrive at assigned time slots. At Rose Hill you check in at your hall's lounge or commons, and at Lincoln Center at McKeon or McMahon Hall. Rose Hill rooms have Twin XL mattresses.
Check your assignment in the housing portal for your specific date and time - your exact move-in date is shown above in the Overview.
Move-in day logistics
- Check-in location
- At Rose Hill, your hall's designated lounge or commons; at Lincoln Center, McKeon Hall or McMahon Hall.
- Parking
- At Rose Hill, Public Safety directs vehicles to the residence halls: pull up perpendicular to the curb with the trunk facing it, then move to legal parking. At Lincoln Center, don't leave vehicles unattended at the curb, and move to a nearby garage or legal street parking after unloading.
- What you'll receive
- Your room key and orientation materials.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
