Fall 2026 Move-In Details

Check in at the Harper Alumni Center, where you get your move-in packet and unloading permit. A complimentary shuttle runs between the Harper Alumni Center and the Transit Center. Rooms have Twin XL mattresses, and MicroFridge rentals are available.

Parking
One unloading permit per student, and only one vehicle per student can enter the North Village lots. Vehicles over 9 feet 4 inches can't enter. After unloading, move vehicles to Harper Alumni Center, Lot 8, Lot 11 or Parking Structure 5.

Move-in day tips

  • Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
  • Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
  • Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
  • Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
