Make sure you've submitted your ID form and photo before you arrive - you'll need it for meals and activities all week. Meals are provided for all students attending orientation. Alumni parents and grandparents are invited to a special legacy-family photography session during move-in. StartTU orientation runs Aug. 19-21, 2026, led by peer mentors through tours, tips, and social gatherings to help you settle in before classes begin.

- If you want your bed lofted or the frame height adjusted, check whether your school needs that request submitted online in advance - most won't do it on the spot.
