Fall 2026 Move-In Details

Move-in is Saturday, Aug. 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 16 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Residents choose a half-hour time slot first-come, first-served through Aug. 5, after which Housing assigns times.

Check your assignment in the housing portal for your specific date and time.

Move-in day logistics

Check-in location
All residents check in at Parking Lot B, just inside campus at the Scholar Loop entrance. Do not go to your building before checking in.
Parking
After check-in at Lot B you are directed to the parking area for your residence building. Gates off Bell Parkway are exit-only on move-in days. Free buggies are available at each building for unloading, first-come, first-served; return them when done.

Move-in day tips

  • Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
  • Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
  • Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
  • Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
