Choose your move-in time using the SignUpGenius link sent to your UNO email. Your MavCARD (or a valid photo ID if you still need one issued) grants access to your building, the city bus, campus dining, and B-cycle bike share. Scott Hall residents move in one day earlier, on Aug. 15, 2026, while Dodge Campus residents (Maverick Village and University Village) move in later, across Aug. 20-22, 2026 - confirm your specific date and campus with UNO Housing & Residence Life.

Move-in day logistics
- Arrival window
- Choose your move-in time slot via the SignUpGenius link sent to your UNO email ahead of your assigned campus/hall date.
- Check-in location
- Check in at your assigned residence hall with your MavCARD or a valid photo ID - MavMovers staff and volunteers are on hand to help with carts, traffic, and directions.
- Parking
- Follow signage to your building's designated unloading zone (Scott Campus residents have historically used lots near Scott Court/Scott Village and the Pacific Street Garage near Scott Crossing) - all residents need a parking permit purchased through Parking Services for ongoing use.
- What you'll receive
- Your MavCARD, which grants building access, city bus and B-cycle bike-share access, and campus dining access; Wi-Fi is available campus-wide with no additional equipment needed.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
