Move-In
Fall 2026 Move-In Details
Continuing and returning students check in Friday, Aug. 14, and first-time freshmen and new-to-campus students check in Saturday, Aug. 15, both from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is no check-in on Sunday, Aug. 16, and keys are not issued that day, so students who miss the window wait until Monday, Aug. 17 during business hours. Fees are due by Aug. 7 to avoid dropped classes, and room assignments are in your eRezLife account. Residence halls have lifts for heavy items, and students are asked to use them instead of the elevators.
Check your assignment in the housing portal for your specific date and time.
Move-in day logistics
- Check-in location
- Check in at the ULM Activity Center for both move-in days.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
