Move-in appointments launch in the Campus Housing portal (myUK) on June 15, 2026 - only dates/times relevant to your specific hall and any Living Learning Program will be visible. Freshmen may bring a car with a paid residential parking permit ($504/year standard rate for 2026-27). Print your Hall Code Card and place it in the upper-left windshield or hang it from the rearview mirror - it helps traffic personnel direct you and lets volunteers and staff reach you if needed.
Check your assignment in the housing portal for your specific date and time.
Move-in day logistics
- Arrival window
- Your Move-In Appointment is a designated 30-minute window to arrive and unload your vehicle - appointments are limited, so select yours as soon as it becomes available.
- Parking
- Once you've unloaded, move your vehicle to the dedicated parking area at K-lot at Kroger Field, then take the shuttle back to your residence hall.
- What you'll receive
- Your mobile WildCard ID (download it through the GET app before arriving) and access to carts to help move your belongings, provided by Wildcat Welcome Team volunteers.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
