The University of Jamestown is a small private Christian university in Jamestown, North Dakota, founded by the Presbyterian Church in 1883 and known as Jamestown College until 2013. Its teams compete as the Jimmies. First-year students live mainly in Seibold, Watson, Wilson and Kroeze Halls, while juniors and seniors have apartment options. Full-time undergraduates are encouraged, not required, to live on campus.

Move-in is Thursday, Aug. 20, with drive-through check-in from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Drive-through check-in is mandatory for students living on campus. Jimmie Move-In Crews in orange shirts help at Kroeze, Seibold, Watson and Wilson Halls. First-year residents also attend a mandatory Residence Hall Meeting from 4 to 5 p.m. Welcome Weekend runs Aug. 20 to 23 and classes begin Monday, Aug. 24.

- Check-in location
- Drive-through check-in is at the UJ main entrance on the west side of campus. Commuters and early arrivals use walk-up check-in at Lyngstad Center from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
