The University of Dubuque is a private Presbyterian (PCUSA) university in Dubuque, Iowa, founded in 1852 as the German Theological College and Seminary. It has a theological seminary and three schools: Business, Liberal Arts, and Professional Programs. The Spartans compete in NCAA Division III. Housing includes traditional halls, apartments and townhouses.

New and transfer students move in Sunday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., checking in first at the Heritage Center to pick up keys. Early move-in needs advance approval and a daily fee. Returning students move in Aug 24-25.
