Move-In
Fall 2026 Move-In Details
Check-in is Friday, Aug. 7 for cross country, cheer, football, soccer and volleyball students, and Friday, Aug. 14 for all other new and returning students. You must finish check-in before you can receive your room key and ID card. After unloading, you visit stations for Student Accounts, Financial Aid, Academic Advising, the campus nurse and Student Life. The enrollment fee is due in full on arrival.
Check your assignment in the housing portal for your specific date and time.
Move-in day logistics
- Check-in location
- Check-in runs 9am to noon. New students start on the west side of Cooper Hall, and room keys and ID cards are given only after check-in is complete.
- Parking
- Find your assigned dorm on the campus map and follow the signs to it.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
