Southwestern College is a small private United Methodist college in Winfield, Kansas, founded in 1885 and known as the home of the Moundbuilders. The college requires all full-time students to live on campus, with exceptions such as married students, veterans, seniors age 21 or older, and students living with a parent or guardian within 50 miles. First-year students live in Cole Hall (primarily women) or Wallingford Hall (men) and get a housing application link by email after paying the tuition deposit. New students check in by assigned appointment in early August.
