Southern Arkansas University is a public university in Magnolia, in south Arkansas, competing as the Muleriders in NCAA Division II. Housing includes traditional halls, themed living-learning halls and apartments, and new students move in on a Sunday in mid-August alongside the Mulerider Round-Up welcome program.

Move-in is Sunday, Aug. 16, together with Mulerider Round-Up. Drop-in registration is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Reynolds Center Rotunda, and the first mandatory session is at 5 p.m. Classes begin Aug. 19.

Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
