You'll receive an email once your housing assignment is finalized this summer with instructions to select a specific move-in date and time based on your assigned building. All students must check in with Residential Learning and University Housing staff to confirm identity and vaccination status before receiving a room key. Relax afterward at the Holly Pointe Commons Courtyard, a popular post-move-in gathering spot for families. Rowan University features nine residence halls and six apartment communities across its 200-acre Glassboro campus.

Move-in day logistics
- Parking
- For the most current policies and information about residential parking on campus, check with Rowan Parking Services - Holly Pointe residents specifically use Lot X, which requires an S or X permit.
- What you'll receive
- Your Rowan ID card, which gives you access to the entrances of your building as well as your own bedroom.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
