Regent University is a private Christian university in Virginia Beach, founded in 1977, with a 70-acre campus. Most of its students are graduate or online learners, and only a minority of the enrollment is traditional undergraduates. On-campus housing is limited to single students in Regent Commons and Regent Village. First-time first-year students in the Traditional Campus Program who live outside a 25-mile radius and study full-time on campus are required to live on campus.

Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
