Fall 2026 Move-In Details
Move-in is Thursday, Aug. 20, with arrival times assigned by last name, starting at 8:30 a.m. for A-B and ending at 2:30 p.m. for U-Z. To arrive at a different time, contact Residence Life. Transfer students may move in Aug. 20 to 23. Cat Crew members are available to help carry belongings.

Move-in day logistics
- Check-in location
- Transfer students check in at Orientation Central in the Student Success Center, on the second floor of B.D. Owens Library, to get a welcome packet.
- Parking
- During your assigned time, pull up outside your residence hall, unload and carry your belongings to your room. Vehicles in the closed lots are towed after 7 p.m. on Aug. 19.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
