Fall 2026 Move-In Details
First-year students and transfer students registered for O-Week move in on Sunday, Aug. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Returning and transfer students not attending O-Week move in Saturday, Aug. 22, starting at 9 a.m. Bring a government-issued ID, have your meningitis vaccination documentation ready, and find your room and roommates in the housing portal before you arrive.
Check your assignment in the housing portal for your specific date and time.
Move-in day logistics
- Check-in location
- Check in at the Innovation Lab first to get your residence hall keys, then visit the Welcome Center next door for your student ID, Convocation T-shirt, parking information and refreshments. Late arrivals after 2 p.m. and approved early arrivals go straight to their hall front desk.
- Parking
- Park in H lot, across from the Innovation Lab, and walk through the tunnel under Bishop Ave. Apply for your parking pass in advance.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
