Louisiana State University of Alexandria is a public, regional campus of the LSU System in central Louisiana, offering associate and bachelor's degrees. Its only on-campus housing is the Oaks Apartments, which come in one-, two- (including bunked) and four-bedroom layouts and include utilities. Housing has been at full capacity for six years, with a waitlist for first-year students, and a new apartment project called Campus Edge is under construction.
