Fall 2026 Move-In Details
Move-in runs Thursday, Aug. 27 through Sunday, Aug. 30, 2026. Students schedule a move-in appointment time in advance through the MyHousing portal. After check-in, residents go to their own residence hall, and driving directions for each hall are posted on the move-in page.
Check your assignment in the housing portal for your specific date and time.
Move-in day logistics
- Check-in location
- Check in at either the Ewigleben Sports Complex or the David L. Eisler Center, then continue to your residential community.
- Parking
- The move-in page does not give parking or unloading details. Check the directions for your residence hall on the move-in page or ask Housing and Residence Life.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
