- Housing & Residence Life check-in runs Wednesday, August 19 (8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) and Thursday, August 20, with first-year students checking in 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and returning students 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Check-in location
- Wednesday check-in is held at the campus student center; Thursday check-in moves to Alumni Coliseum.
- Parking
- Follow the designated residential parking lots shown on the EKU parking and campus map for move-in day.
- What you'll receive
- T-shirt distribution for new students happens Friday, August 21, as part of Big E Welcome programming.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
