Check-in runs 8:30am-2:30pm. Schedule your move-in appointment in the Housing Portal once available (anticipated early summer). Bring proof of your meningitis vaccination to the University Health Center before check-in.

Move-in day logistics
- Arrival window
- New incoming students (freshmen and transfers) move in Wednesday, August 19, 2026, 8:30am-2:30pm. Returning students move in Thursday, August 20 through Sunday, August 23, anytime between 9am and 5pm.
- Check-in location
- Schedule your move-in appointment through the Housing Portal ahead of arrival; confirm your hall's exact check-in point once your appointment is scheduled.
- Parking
- Your Move-In Packet includes traffic maps, a car placard, and luggage tags to print before you arrive - follow the posted traffic maps for your assigned hall.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
