Fall 2026 Move-In Details

Freshman move-in is Friday, Aug. 14, 2026. Check in first to pick up your residence hall key and check in for Tiger Orientation, then go to Pesagi Hall to move in. Bring your student ID, or a government-issued photo ID, which gives limited building and meal plan access. Each room has a bed frame and mattress, desk, chair, dresser and closet; beds are twin or twin XL, and one mini fridge (3.5 cubic feet or less) and one microwave (under 1,000 watts) are allowed per room.

Check your assignment in the housing portal for your specific date and time.

Move-in day logistics

Check-in location
Check in at the Chickasaw Business and Conference Center to get your residence hall key and check in for Tiger Orientation.
Parking
After check-in, drive to the lot by Pesagi Hall. Residence Life staff give next steps, and signs direct you to your move-in section based on your room number.

Move-in day tips

  • Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
  • Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
  • Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
  • Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
