Colorado College's Colorado Springs campus is anchored by Cutler Hall, its original 1877-1880 building once known simply as "the College" before being renamed twice, with all incoming first-year students housed in the "Big Three" traditional halls: El Diente, McGregor, and Montgomery, the latter built in 1891 as a women's residence.

Students in El Diente, McGregor, or Montgomery will pick up their key from Loomis Hall before continuing to their residence hall. NSO Check-In has moved to Robson Arena for 2026 (no longer on Tava Quad) - after checking in, proceed to your residence hall, which opens promptly at 8 a.m. Colorado College does not allow first-year students to have a car on campus. Immediately after unloading, move vehicles to visitor parking in the Robson Arena parking garage, the Library Parking Lot, or available street parking along Nevada Avenue.

Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned window - early arrivals often just wait longer.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck; loading-zone carts run out fast.
- Parking near freshman halls fills up quickly - have a backup plan or drop-off spot.
- Loading zones usually enforce a strict time limit (often 30 minutes) before you're expected to move your car to long-term parking.
- Activate your student ID online before you arrive - many schools require it for building and elevator access from day one.
- If you want your bed lofted or the frame height adjusted, check whether your school needs that request submitted online in advance - most won't do it on the spot.
- Check your school's specific package-acceptance window before shipping anything ahead - most won't hold early deliveries outside a set date range.
- Unpack essentials first: bedding, toiletries, and chargers, before anything else.
