Cleveland State University is a public urban university in downtown Cleveland, founded in 1964. The campus was historically commuter-oriented and now offers university housing in Fenn Tower and Euclid Commons. The Edge and The Langston are CSU Affiliate Housing run separately from the university. All residents in university housing must have a residential meal plan for the full academic year.

Move-in for incoming students runs Wednesday, Aug. 19 through Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026. Move-in details are emailed July 31 along with housing assignments. A residential meal plan is required for all residents, and incoming students start on the Green & White plan by default. The Viking ID card photo is due Aug. 17.
