New Student Welcome Week runs the same day as move-in through Sunday, August 30, easing the transition to university life with social activities and opportunities to meet fellow students, faculty, and staff. Classes begin the following day, Monday, August 31, with Convocation held Wednesday, September 2 at 3:00 p.m. Commuter students have their own parallel welcome program to meet fellow commuters during Welcome Week.
