Move-in day logistics

Check-in location
Check in at the lobby of your residence hall before unloading. Administrative check-in is at the Student Success Center in Guadalupe Hall on Aug. 22, and student ID photos are taken at the St. John Paul II Student Center.
Parking
After unloading, move your vehicle to the Murphy Recreation Center or Amino Center lots. There is one main campus entrance, so expect a vehicle line. Arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before your group's time.

Move-in day tips

  • Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
  • Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
  • Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
  • Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
