Belmont University is a private, nondenominational Christian university on an urban campus of about 75 acres near Midtown Nashville. It is known for its music business and entertainment programs and offers bachelor's degrees in more than 130 majors. Full-time undergraduates with fewer than 60 credit hours must live in campus housing unless they qualify for an exemption, and new students move in over a three-day window in mid-August ahead of Welcome Week.

Spring move-in is Monday, Jan. 11, from 10 a.m. to noon. Spring Orientation (Towering Traditions) runs Jan. 11-12.

Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
