Fall 2026 Move-In Details
Move-in runs Aug. 19 to 21, 9am to 3pm, with the day set by hall. Aug. 19 covers Castle Heights 200s and 300s, Blount, Harvill, Sevier and Governors Terrace South. Aug. 20 covers Castle Heights 400s and 500s, Governors Terrace North, Eriksson and Hand Village 100-400. Aug. 21 covers Hand Village 500-800, Meacham, Emerald Hill and Two Rivers.

Move-in day logistics
- Check-in location
- Complete the housing application, License Agreement and pre-move-in paperwork in the housing portal, then choose a move-in timeslot under Confirm Your Move In. Timeslots open around June 1 and you are notified by student email.
- Parking
- No parking permit fee, but register your car online before parking on campus. A meal plan is required for all on-campus residents.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
